Before treatment there is cystic, incessant acne, scarring. After treatment there is a very rare eruption of one or two pimples, redness reduced, texture much smoother, scars diminished, no pills.

Note: This person had a dramatic redutction in facial redness, flushing, and small veins. She also reported reduction in skin sensitivity and blemishes. Her prominent red hot spots are reduced. She also had a couple of Intense Pulse Light sessions to augment the benefit.

in patient with rosacea. This patient is very pleased because he has not only

blemishes or hotspots of Rosacea. Even his eye symptoms have improved.

Note: Before dense comedones and enlarge sebaceous glands in “T zone” (nose and cheek), also disfiguring pigment marks full face due to frequent inflammatory breakout. After 1 PDT the inflammation has resolved blackheads dome and erupt as they expel from pores. The pigment markings fewer and faded. After Profraction the blackheads may be seen erupting out around the non smaller sebaceous glands. This patient will need superficial laser peel to smooth her nose and cheeks. Already there is dramatic improvement.

Note: This young man is very happy to experience considerable improvement in inflammatory acne after 3 PDT (Photodynamic therapy) sessions. He plans to complete the therapy with 1 Profraction. If he is typical he will go into remission without pills.

Note: See in the Before picture, the mottled complexion with inflammatory acne blemishes and pigment marks from prior blemishes, also noted are subtle depressed scars and domed blackheads. After 2 sessions of Photodynamic therapy, this patient entered remission from acne, while her complexion was much improved, more attractive.
